What makes the PSP catalogue special?
PSP stood out for trying to offer experiences very close to those of home consoles on a portable device. Games such as God of War, GTA and Metal Gear showed that it could handle large and technically ambitious adventures.
But the catalogue also had a huge presence of Japanese games and experiences designed specifically for portable play sessions. Monster Hunter, Patapon, Lumines and numerous RPGs helped give the system a personality of its own.
That combination of major productions, experimental games and deeply portable experiences makes PSP an especially interesting console to discover in 2026.
